New Chief Constable candidate named for Warwickshire |
||
|
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire, Philip Seccombe, has named Emma Bond MBE as his preferred candidate to become the county’s next Chief Constable. Emma brings over 20 years of policing experience, including senior leadership roles in Police Scotland and earlier service in Northern Ireland. She was awarded an MBE in 2019 for her contribution to policing and the community. Her selection follows a thorough recruitment process led by the Commissioner’s Office, which included input from both policing staff and local partners. Before any appointment is confirmed, Emma will attend a public hearing with the Warwickshire Police and Crime Panel on 13 July. The Panel will review the process and provide its view. If approved, the Commissioner will make a formal appointment following the necessary checks.
